What age range is the camp designed for?
Our camp is tailored for children and teens ages 6 to 18. We group participants by age to foster meaningful peer connections and age-appropriate clinical goals. Group sizes are kept small, only 3-4 children maximum.
When do sessions take place?
Camp sessions are held throughout the summer months. Generally, we operate one hour sessions, Monday through Friday, offering both morning and afternoon schedules to fit families' needs.
Where is the camp located?
All activities take place at our professional clinic located at 1025 New York Avenue West, DeLand, FL, providing a safe and focused environment for growth.
What is the cost, and do you accept insurance?
We accept many major insurance plans and Step Up Florida scholarships. Please contact our office for a personalized cost estimate based on your coverage.
What will my child do each day?
Participants engage in evidence-based therapy sessions, group speaking activities, and interactive workshops designed to build confidence and communication tools.
Who provides the safety and supervision?
Your child's safety is our priority. Every session is led by ASHA certified speech-language pathologists who specialize in pediatric communication disorders.
How do I register for the camp?

Is there a cancellation policy or waitlist?
We maintain a waitlist for full sessions and offer a flexible cancellation policy. Contact us as soon as possible if your plans change so we can assist others.

What does the camp schedule look like?
Sessions run for one dynamic week, from Monday through Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. This focused block allows for the high-frequency practice needed for mastery while ensuring your child still has plenty of time for summer relaxation.
How large are the groups?
We prioritize personalized attention by keeping our groups very small, typically including just 3 to 5 children. This intimate setting ensures that our SLPs can provide immediate, individualized feedback to every participant during every activity.
How do I know if my child is ready for this camp?
The ideal candidate is 6 or older and can produce a clear 'R' sound when prompted, but struggles to use it consistently in sentences or conversation. If you're unsure, we’d love to have a quick chat to help determine if this is the right next step!
