Meet Our Clinical Director
Charlotte is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Florida and the heart behind Purple Heron. With extensive experience across hospital, home health, and school settings, Charlotte brings a deep understanding of both adult and pediatric communication needs. Her clinical expertise includes working with adults facing challenges related to head and neck cancer, stroke, Parkinson's disease, dementia, and swallowing disorders. She is a certified specialist provider of LSVT LOUD treatment for Parkinson's Disease. Charlotte also has over 20 years of experience supporting children in special education, from ages 2 to 22. Her pediatric specialties include late talking, stuttering, and autism spectrum disorder. She has pioneered highly effective group therapy for teens with ASD in small, inclusive peer groups. Charlotte's approach is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in evidence-based practice. She believes in empowering clients and families through education, collaboration, and care that meets each person where they are.
