Clinical Director of Purple Heron Speech Therapy
Charlotte is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Florida and the heart behind Purple Heron. With extensive experience across hospital, home health, and school settings, Charlotte brings a deep understanding of both adult and pediatric communication needs.
Her clinical expertise includes working with adults facing challenges related to head and neck cancer, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and swallowing disorders.
Charlotte also has over 20 years of experiene supporting children in special education, from ages 2 to 22. Her pediatric specialties include late talking, stuttering, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and reading difficulties. She has pioneered highly effective group therapy for teens with ASD in small, inclusive, peer groups.
Charlotte’s approach is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in evidence-based practice. She believes in empowering clients and families through education, collaboration, and care that meets each person where they are.
